My Story

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by :)
 

My name is Noha and I am obsessed with everything kitchen related. Cooking, baking, optimizing my space, organization, kitchen gadgets, cookware...you name it, I love it! Oh, and we can't forget..actual eating. I'm a true foodie at heart!

After spending over 11 years studying genetics and molecular biology, I jumped into a career in research, innovation and R&D for the next 10 years. For a few of those years, I ran a virtual bakery in my spare time which I absolutely loved (shout out to La Delisherie, my first little venture). Unfortunately, I had to close up shop when my 9-to-5 became too hectic. 
 

In addition to being a scientist at heart, I'm also an avid meal prepper (going on 16 years of Sunday meal prepping), and a lover of all things kitchen related. I'm always on the lookout for the cleanest ways to make all my most loved foods from scratch. You won't find any ready-made store-bought meals in my home!

 

Foodies in the Kitchen was born from my love of food, efficiency and weaving science into everything I do. It's a labor of love and allows me to share all my food-related loves with all of you!

What is Foodies in the Kitchen?

 

I offer customized approaches to getting comfortable in the kitchen. You pick the learning style that works best for you. Right now, your options include:

- One-on-one sessions with me where you learn to perfect your recipes, how to meal prep, or understand the basics of cooking and/or baking, and more;

- Group classes where we cook together virtually and learn about the science behind nutrition

- Self-directed learning via my beautiful, simple-to-follow handouts and ebooks designed to make your life easier.

 

Who are you?

 

You love good food (ie. a foodie)! But:

- Maybe you're struggling to make the food you love without spending hours in the kitchen every night;

- Perhaps you want to learn more about the science behind cooking or baking;

- Or maybe you don't know where to start amongst the bajillions of recipes you've saved or cooking videos you've bookmarked (been there!)

- You might even already be a great cook but are looking for tips and tricks to up your game or improve your meal prep to make life just that little bit easier.
